I love being near water, so you might find me walking along a spring, a beach, or exploring a natural preserve.

This is Teddy B.  He is a 22lb Choco mini dachshund.  He is a bit shy around people, loves going for hikes, playing at the beach and chasing lizards and squirrels.  

I am passionate about increasing access to education, with experience teaching diverse learners, mentoring early-career teachers, and advocating for test-optional admissions to remove barriers to higher education.

I enjoy traveling and immersing myself in other cultures.  Most of the time, I am traveling with my son which allows us to create special memories.

Books and research are excellent sources of knowledge and information. They allow me to constantly expand my understanding of the world around me.  I have recently published new research on the Effects of High Stakes Testing on Student Wellbeing.
